A roll-up is never one clean tree. Legrand is one company seen three ways — who reports to whom (org), which product family makes & connects the work (family), and which brand / legal entity books it (entity). They only reconcile through the site, which is why the same business shows up as a family here, a leader there, and a data-grain gap on the map.

Read this: the regional & functional EVPs all report to CEO Benoît Coquart, with the Board chaired separately by Angeles Garcia-Poveda (split Chair/CEO). That's a roll-up tell: the historic families (Wiring Devices & Controls, Cable Management) are fully on SAP and form the operating spine, while the newer datacenter-M&A brands (Avtron · Kratos · ZPE, Green4T) are still integrating and migrating — so they show up at coarser data grain on the map.

Why it matters

The three lenses only reconcile at the site

A single order is booked by a legal entity, sold under a product family, owned by a family / regional lead, and delivered from a site in a geography. Entity resolution keeps them tied.

The chain, end to end
Legal entity (e.g. Legrand SA)
→ Product family (Datacenter & Power Infrastructure)
→ Family / regional lead (via the CEO)
→ Plant / Site (Somerset, NJ — Raritan PDU)
→ Geography (North & Central America)
How it holds together

Entity resolution maps each legacy site/brand/acquired-company code to one node, so a number can roll up by any lens — by leader, by family, by geography — and still tie to the same total. Where a newer unit still books at region level, the site and family figures are SAP-allocated and flagged, not invented.
